To easily find out how much disk space you have used or have available you can go to yourdomain.com/admin.

Login and view the System Stats in the middle of the page

Note that there are more things than just your images and files using disk space such as:

These things are important and you will need to leave space for them. Additionally, if you run out of space, your emails will not be recieved.
